About Me
Hi, I'm a little out of practice with this . . .
I'm kind, caring and very loyal, originally from Doncaster, South Yorkshire but have lived in Dudley for the last 4.5 years and I'm currently finishing a degree in Ecology (not as tree-huggy as it sounds). I'm quite shy around new people but can be coaxed out of my shell once you get to know me.
Well, I'm not your average girl, I hate shopping, don't have millions of pairs of shoes, don't watch soaps and have no interest in celebrity gossip!! . . . . I do however love animals, I currently have a few pets from snakes and tortoises to a cat and a few others in between! I like walking in green and natural areas (I know, the concrete jungle of the Dudley is not a great place to be for that!!). I enjoy visiting nature reserves (essentials I keep in my car include a pair of wellies, walking boots and a waterproof coat!), (good) zoos and historic sites like Roman Settlements. I'm a keen photographer (but I'm not brilliant and still learning), I like reading, Lego, Scrabble, board games, Dr Who, fossils and dinosaurs . . . . How am I doing here??? . . . . I love volunteering with the RSPB in the Highlands of Scotland, in fact as the daughter of a Scot, I love Scotland in general, the landscape, the wildlife, the lack of people and busyness, and I may as well mention that my aim is to live up there eventually.
My taste in music is very eclectic and I will listen to anything from classical to classic 70/80s rock depending on my mood. TV wise I tend to watch documentaries, crime dramas and I love films that make you think.
What else do you need to know? Well, I have blue/green eyes, very long auburn hair, I carry a little extra padding but working on that and I'm a single mum to a wonderful 12 year old daughter.
I think that's it! I'm recently single and just looking to meet new people for conversation ...... so if you like nights In watching movies, nights out at pub quizzes, country walks and intelligent (ish) conversation get in touch! :o)
