About Me

Feminine CD seeks special friends
I have been endeavoring to "refresh" my circle of friends. In a nutshell I have a very thirsty mind hence I love to learn, which includes a fascination for how others perceive existence (some more than others ;). I love to paint, draw, write and film my perceptions of it all. While I've always been aware that these endeavors have allowed me to express my notions of life experience, in recent years I've become more aware of the impressions such pursuits have on me and my ability to "see" the world. Funny how insidious egocentrism can be sometimes, all the while I thought I was expressing, the universe was silently impressing upon me in much greater quantities. I've always been intrigued by the notion that "nothing is as it seems". My intrigue is probably multifaceted, but I suppose in it's simplest form part of what I take from the idea is that if nothing else, the sum total of all the "bad things" in the world is less than it appears. Or at least one can hope.
I expect little besides common decency and respect, things I used to assume came bundled inside the notion of "friendship". Unfortunately one too many drama queens, pageantqueens, peabrains and/or jockheads & blockheads uncovered my misunderstanding of that impression. While I strive not to stereotype, I find that only certain labels work effectually at conveying my message in writing. If I had to pinpoint one quality I cherish most in a friend, I'd have to say acceptance ( i.e. open mind, understanding, tolerance, courage to investigate the unknown & unfamiliar prior to forming an opinion).
