Why don't people talk in an elevator? Why do people look away when walking past each other? Why do some people prefer to sit at home, alone, rather than go on a date with someone they're not 100% attracted to? I think some people look at a date as a commitment, when its not. It's simply the means used to get to know someone better to see if you might want to be commited to that person in the future. Dating is supposed to be about fun, and meeting new people. If we hit it off, great, if not, maybe we'll be friends, if we really don't have fun, well, now we know that we don't work together.
