New to Ottawa, looking to meet new people
I am a 26yearold graduate student at Carleton University. I only recently moved to Ottawa and do not know a lot of people here yet. So I'd like to meet some new people, maybe make some new friends, and maybe more if I stumble across someone interesting who feels the same way.I love to travel, read, go biking, or head out hiking. I read whenever I can, love knowing about many different topics, I know a little bit about a lot of things.Trying to describe myself is always hard but try I will. I am openminded, quiet but rather opinionated, caring, sarcastic, rather selfdeprecating and perhaps, sometimes a little awkward and nerdy (maybe more than a little nerdy actually), and shy but I recover from that pretty quickly. I love music, especially live music, pretty much all styles, interested in classical and opera as well. I'm pretty laid back, not really into going to the clubs but I love to head to a nice pub (I'd love to discover some new ones here, I haven't found to many good pubs since moving here) have a few pints of some good, probably dark, thick beer, and a nice conversation. Or coffee if beer isn't appropriate.
