About Me
I am a single 66 year old man who is retired from teaching (20 years in China) and the construction trades (12 years here). I'm now living in downtown Calgary (my hometown). While I can read, write, speak and understand some Mandarin I am neither conversational nor fluent. As I'm still hurting from my last relationship, I hope to find a lady who could become a good friend and then let's see how it proceeds from there.
Though I keep hoping things will open up again soon, I'm sick of the mask and I really miss dancing. I really hope to find someone here who loves dancing to Rock 'n' Roll or Hip Hop as much as I do.
For now I would settle for a good friend that I can go out and do things with or sit around over tea, coffee or a good meal and get to know them better. I'm still hurting from my last relationship so I don't want to jump into a new relationship too fast but ideally it would lead to a long term relationship.
Let's just clear a few things up. I do prefer ladies closer to me in age so if you are under 40, I will just delete you off the list right away. Also, I can never return to the USA (for reasons I don't want to discuss right now), have no plans to visit Africa, South America or Europe, but do have a soft spot for Asia. Basically, unless you plan to come here to Calgary or wait for me to get back to Asia, then you are pretty much wasting your time.
